This course serves as an introduction to Java, to help students decide whether they wish to pursue further topics in computer science. The course will balance application and theory. For the application portion, students will be creating a Java-turn based version of the game "Snake". For the theory portion of the course, students will explore Computer Science AP questions that build off of topics covered in the application portion of the course.

The fundamentals of coding in Java will be covered in this course: data types, classes, constructors, arrays, indexing, functions, loops, and more.
